Driver App – Vehicle Inspection Setup Instructions

1. Enable the Feature

  • Go to Settings → D.A. for Drivers.

  • Enable QR Scan Assignment and Driver Checklist.


2. Configure the Inspection Checklist

  • Go to Settings → Dictionaries → Driver Checklist.

  • From here, you can:

    • Add or remove checklist items based on truck type.

    • Reorder items as needed.

3. Print QR Codes

  • QR codes can be printed from the Administrative Section of Reports.


4. Reporting

  • Run inspection reports under Reports → Dispatch Section to review:

    • When inspections were performed.

    • Results and any failed items.

5. Driver Workflow

  • When drivers log into the app, they will be prompted to complete a vehicle inspection.

  • After logging in, drivers can switch trucks as needed and scan a QR code to assign themselves to a different vehicle.

  • If a vehicle fails inspection, an email notification will automatically be sent to the Shop Manager email listed under Company Settings.
