How do I set up vehicle inspections in the Driver App?
Vehicle inspections are configured through D.A. for Drivers settings, the checklist dictionary, and QR codes. Follow the steps below to get everything set up.
1. Enable the feature
Go to Settings → D.A. for Drivers.
Enable QR Scan Assignment and Driver Checklist.
2. Configure the inspection checklist
Go to Settings → Dictionaries → Driver Checklist.
From here you can add or remove checklist items based on truck type, and reorder items as needed.
3. Print QR codes
QR codes can be printed from the Administrative section of Reports.
4. Run inspection reports
Run inspection reports under Reports → Dispatch Section to review when inspections were performed, along with the results and any failed items.
What happens in the driver's workflow?
When a driver logs into the app, they're prompted to complete a vehicle inspection.
After logging in, drivers can switch trucks as needed and scan a QR code to assign themselves to a different vehicle.
If a vehicle fails inspection, an email notification is sent automatically to the Shop Manager email listed under Company Settings.
