How to Add a Photo URL on an Invoice

Dispatch Anywhere can display a link to job photos directly on the invoice, giving customers easy access to photos taken during the call. This is enabled per account from the Invoicing tab.

What you'll need

  • Access to the Dispatch Anywhere settings page

  • A list of which customer accounts need this feature, since it's applied per account, not globally

Steps

  1. Log in to your Dispatch Anywhere settings page. Go to Dispatch Anywhere Settings.

  2. Select Accounts on the left toolbar and pick the customer account you want to enable this for. On the Invoicing tab, check the box for "Show Photo URL on Invoice."

Note: This setting must be applied to each account individually — it does not apply account-wide by default. Repeat this step for every account that needs the feature.

What happens next

Once enabled, invoices for that account include a link to the job's photos. Only photos marked as public on the call will show through that link — photos marked private are not included, even if this setting is turned on.

FAQ

Q: How do I show job photos on an invoice?
A: Go to Accounts, select the account, open the Invoicing tab, and check "Show Photo URL on Invoice."

Q: Why isn't a photo showing up on the invoice link?
A: The invoice link only includes photos marked as public on the call. If a photo is marked private, it won't appear even with this setting enabled.

Q: Do I need to enable this for every account, or is it a global setting?
A: It's per account. You'll need to turn it on individually for each customer account that should show the photo URL on its invoices.

Q: Where do I find this setting?
A: Dispatch Anywhere settings page > Accounts > select the account > Invoicing tab.
